Project: A Word about Pumpkins

Fall is one of my favorite times of year. I love the weather, the festivals, and everything pumpkin.  In the spirit of one of my favorite times of year I made this pumpkin.

Supplies Needed:
Hardcover book
cardstock
utility knife
Hot glue gun/glue stick

1- Take a hardcover book and remove the cover.
2- Take a piece of card stock and make a template of half of a pumpkin
3- Use the template to trace the shape on the pages.
4- Use the utility knife to cut the pages in the shape of the template.  It probably will be helpful to do a few pages at a time.
5- once all the pages are cut in the shape of the template, take the ends of the books (front and back cover) and pull them together to make a 3-D shape.
6- Put the stick in the middle of the book where the spine is located to serve as the stem.
7- Glue the front and back cover together using the hot glue gun.

8- as an added thing you can use orange spray paint to make the pumpkin even more realistic.
